ABOUT THE ROLE
Support CEO, CFO and NCC Senior Management Team (SMT) with Strategy initiation, development, execution, follow-up and Ad-hoc company analysis.

• Strategy for NCC Group
• Certain projects with business strategy importance for NCC Group
• Competitor profiling and development of relevant markets
• M&A Screening
• Support CFO (Head of Finance & IT) with improvement efforts

THE CANDIDATES BACKGROUND AND PROFILE ( experience and knowledge )
• Minimum 3 years with leading Top Tier consulting firm combined with a leading strategy development role
within large corporate adding up a minimum 10 years’ experience.
• Experience from leading reorganization and/or operational improvement work
• Experience from driving strategic questions with a hypothesis-driven approach, synthesizing recommendations and being able to document in a clear fashion.
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills
• Background in Construction industry or project-based business appreciated
• Ability to both conduct work independently as well as train others and / or coach others as needed:
• Business acumen: superior understanding of profit and loss sheet, cash flow and impact on balance sheet of activities.
• Analytical skills: Superior analytical skills. Able to produce solid business cases based on non-comparable data and uncertain data sources.
• Fluency in business strategy problems – track record of addressing multiple types of strategy questions. Strong track record with various strategy models
• Problem solving skills: able to use hypothesis-based problem solving.
• Coaching and teaching skills – ability to train teams, both stable and ad-hoc, to
• Ability to create high performance teams, stable and ad-hoc.
• Outgoing personality – able to be “tough with a smile”
• Fluency in one Nordic language and English, both oral and written.
• Superior presentation skills – able to present to Boards, CEO, CFO and SMT members conclusions in a logical and persuasive manner, both orally and written
Autority and other tasks
• Take necessary decisions within area of responsibility. Provide independent opinion in cases where it is needed outside own organization.
• Prepare Board ready material for CEO, CFO and SMT members as needed
• Contribute to the success of the NCC Group
Education and specific skills
• Strong academic credentials, ideally including an MSc in Engineeering and/or Business/Finance,
• Fluent in English & Swedish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to prioritize and focus on the critical and most pressing matters.
