About the job
Acquisitions is a key growth driver for Systemair and as M&A Manager you will play an essential role in supporting transactions from early strategic review up to closing and further on during integration. You will be responsible for supporting and driving both ongoing transactions across the globe as well as supporting Group Management with strategic initiatives. You will report to the Head of M&A and work closely with other members of Group Management as well as other business leaders throughout the organization. The position will give a great insight and opportunity to pursue a strategic growth agenda on a global basis and shape the future of Systemair.
ResponsibiliesAs M&A Manager at Systemair you will be involved in all steps of the M&A process. You will be the project manager or work together with our Vice President M&A depending on the size and type of transaction. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Proactively manage M&A pipeline through working with internal and external stakeholders to identify, evaluate and establish connection with potential targets
- Lead and coordinate all steps of the M&A process from A to Z including financial modeling/valuation, due diligence, deal structure, negotiation of SPA and execution
- Support in integrating acquired targets including coordinating preparation of post-merger integration-plans
- Strategic market review of existing and new markets/segments/applications as well as monitor and analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes in order to identify key insights

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Engineering
Strong financial and strategic acumen
+ 5 years of relevant M&A transactions experience skills preferably from:
Big 4 advisory (Corporate Finance / Transaction Services / Strategy)
Corporate M&A or Strategy roles with a strong deal record
A top-tier management consultancy
Proven experience in financial due diligence and transaction execution
Good theoretical knowledge and experience from valuation and financial modeling
Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to multi-task on various ongoing transactions
Curious, creative, flexible and highly collaborative doer
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead project teams and work collaboratively in an international environment
High proficiency in English, written and spoken
The position is based in Stockholm reporting to Vice President M&A, part of the Management Team, and requires from time to time frequent travelling depending on projects.
